Entryport Solution Modules
Entryport has developed several product extensions that
accelerate Identity and Access Management implementations.
These components mitigate project risk factors through
re-use, enhance project business value, and reduce costs.
Some of these components include:
| User Store Consolidator |
 |
 |
During the past number of years, organizations
have capitalized on the Internet/Intranet
channel to provide customer service and line
of business applications to customers, partners,
and employees. As a result, many organizations
have constructed separate user stores for
these stakeholders. This segregation of user
information creates many challenges including:
- Inefficient user management
processes
- Fragmented user registration
and provisioning processes
- Inconsistent user
self-service facilities
The Entryport User Store Consolidator allows
organizations to consolidate their separate
user stores into an enterprise user repository
over time, using a user-initiated, federation-like
model. This solution module drastically reduces
the costs associated with traditional consolidation
efforts. |

| Legacy
Connector Suite for Netegrity Siteminder |
|

|
 |
One of the key challenges that face many organizations
today is the ability to integrate legacy applications
into their core web-based SSO infrastructure.
Organizations are looking at ways to integrate
these two worlds and provide the much needed
transition time to migrate their non web-based
applications into the web-based infrastructure.
For this reason Entryport has developed the
Legacy Connector Suite for Netegrity Siteminder.
The Legacy Connector Suite facilitates the
integration of existing 2-tier and mainframe
applications into the enterprise SSO framework.

| User
Login Trigger |
 |
 |
In most cases, organizations need to perform
specific business actions when a user logs
into a web application or portal environment.
This may include: automatically setting attributes
(such as a last logon timestamp) within the
user’s profile, temporarily redirecting
a user to a survey, alerting the user of critical
news events, or to supply additional user
profile information before they are directed
to the portal. Entryport has created the User
Login Trigger to provide organizations with
a generic, reusable, configurable facility
for meeting these needs. |
|
 |
| Self-Service
User ID Change |
 |
 |
This facility allows users to change their
user ID (realtime) within the enterprise LDAP
user repository. In many cases organizations
utilize this facility to ease the migration
from legacy web-based environments where User
ID's may have been automatically generated
through a legacy process.
The Self-Service User ID Change extension
resolves this customer service issue. |

 |
 |

provide support for the following:
- Account lockout after
n reset attempts
- Restricting access
to locked accounts (due to successive

- Emailing temporary

- Improved error handling
