Project Description
This project was part of the launch of this telco's public site that
included the design, build, test, deployment of a new suite of
on-line services to all subscribing B2C and small
B2B customers. This project established
the foundation for all future web development projects
(B2C, B2E, B2B etc.) within the organization.
Client Objective
Deploy an enterprise application level security
services to facilitate more consistent audit and enforcement
of security rules.
- Migrate customers to the new enterpise LDAP repository.
- Reduce application complexity and overhead.
- Deploy a consistent, seamless authentication framework
regardless of authentication medium.
Reduce service management costs by:
- Customer self service of password resets, forgotten
User ID lookups, change user ID
- Consolidated user support / user management facility
- Fully automated, real-time self-registration
- Improve customer service through Single Sign-On
and allowing customers to select/change their online
user ID
Scope
- All project phases including Requirements, Analysis,
Design, Construction, Testing, and Deployment
