Project Description
This project was targeted the integration and deployment
of Netegrity Siteminder within all B2B applications
and portals across multiple affiliate organizations
including Royal & SunAlliance Insurance Company
of Canada, Western Assurance, and Ajilon Financial.
Client Objective
- Deploy an enterprise application level security
services to facilitate more consistent audit and enforcement
of security rules.
- Reduce application complexity, overhead and development
costs.
- Deploy a consistent, seamless authentication framework
regardless of authentication medium.
- Reduce Service Management Costs through:
- Customer self service of password resets
- Delegated & Consolidated user support / user
management digital dashboard
- Electronic Self-Registration
- Improve customer service through Single Sign-On
across multiple affiliate domains.
- Improve time-to-market for future broker-facing
applications
Scope
- All project phases including Requirements, Analysis,
Design, Construction, Testing, and Deployment.
- Siteminder-enable all B2B applications.
- Construction of a data collection facility to accelerate
the collection of strategic user profile data.
- Deploy the solution to over 2000 broker partners.
- Develop and implement a cross-functional roles
-based authorization framework
- Provide Single Sign-on across multiple external
customer domains
- User self-service and profile management
- LDAP schema definition and implementation
- Integration of Siteminder within all externally-focused
development environments including Sandbox, Development,
Integration Test, UAT Test and Production.
