Project Description
This project targeted the integration and deployment
of Netegrity Siteminder within all B2E applications
and the Royal & SunAlliance employee portal (The
Avenue). The avenue is used by all Royal & SunAlliance
affiliate organizations.
Client Objective
- Extend the enterprise application level security
services to facilitate more consistent audit and enforcement
of security rules for employees.
- Reduce Service Management Costs through:
- Employee self service of password resets
- Provide Single Sign-On to all internal (B2E)
web applications including line-of-business, and
HR applications.
- Extend the existing delegated user management environment
to support employees and regional security officers.
Scope
- All project phases including Requirements, Analysis,
Design, Construction, Testing, and Deployment.
- Siteminder-enable all B2E applications within the Avenue Employee portal.
- Extend the cross-functional roles-based authorization
framework
- User self-service and profile management
- LDAP schema definition and implementation
- Integration of Siteminder within all internally-focused
development environments including Sandbox, Development,
Integration Test, UAT Test and Production
